A Conveniently Located SF Hotel

Metro Hotel is one of the most affordable Haight Ashbury hotels in San Francisco near the Nopa neighborhood. We are right located right in the geographic heart of San Francisco. We are easily accessible from wherever you are coming from, by whatever mode of transportation. Our city is rich with efficient public transportation; you might consider using the Muni, BART, CalTrans to get to us. Check out 511.org to see our choices. If you are driving to the property, please read the directions below.

On street parking: there are non-metered, time restricted parking and non-permitted parking in our neighborhood. If you are driving, check out the directions below.

As with anywhere, please pay careful attention to posted street signs, street cleaning days, and make sure you're not blocking any driveways. Victorians can have driveways in odd spots; just to give you a head's up, our favorite No Parking sign? "Visualize Being Towed."

Also be careful not to leave anything of value in sight in your car. Such is the unfortunate nature of urban life. Heck, it happens in suburbia, too.

STREET PARKING:

PLEASE READ ALL SIGNS BEFORE PARKING
Parking off of Divisadero Street in the surrounding neighborhoods arefree. The non-permitted streets are Page and Broderick. Permitted parking have a 2 hour parking limit.

Please be sure to check all street signs for street cleaning hours or any other restrictions. An open parking spot may need to be cleared during certain hours of the day and you will get a ticket if you fail to move your car. Each block and each side of the street is on a different cleaning schedule. If there is a meter you must pay for parking or risk getting a ticket. Metered parking spots are still subject to street cleaning hours.

Some spots, especially on Divisadero and Oak, are tow-away zones. When parking on a hill, please remember to turn your wheels according to which side of the hill you are parked on: Downhill: Turn your wheels inward towards the curb. Uphill: Turn your wheels outward away from the curb.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will be happy to assist you to the best of our capacity. However, please be aware that our staff has no way of knowing if and when you are legally parked in any given spot. The Metro Hotel cannot be responsible for any parking violations you incur.

PAID PARKING:
There is available parking at the nearby DMV lot. They are available for overnight parking (5PM-7AM), and weekends at 1377 Fell Street.
