Check in: 3:00 pm until 12:00 am (Midnight)
Check out: 12:00 pm

Should your arrival fall outside of these hours, we will do our best to accommodate and get you to your room as soon as possible. If you arrive to check in before 3:00 pm or need a place to store your luggage after check-out, we are happy to hold luggage for you behind the front desk.

If you have not checked out by 12:00pm we reserve the right to move your personal items to our general holding area and charge for another night’s stay.

Guarantee Policy
For all reservations, guarantee to valid form of payment is required at booking.

Cancellation Policy
For all reservations: cancel 2 days prior to arrival date to avoid penalty of 1 night's room charge. Anytime you cancel after booking online you will be charged a 10% processing fee.

The minimum age to stay at the Metro Hotel room is 21 years old. Photo identification and a valid credit card are required at time of check in.

The Metro Hotel will make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests. Rooms may be reassigned as needs of the hotel require.

As our guests, we want you to find the Metro Hotel as one of the best hotels in Haight Asbury, San Francisco. We strive to provide a wonderful experience; as such, should you opt out of daily housekeeping service, we will still need to have access to all of our rooms at least every other day. For your convenience, we will limit hours of access to between 10am and 3pm. We appreciate your cooperation!

The Metro Hotel is located on a major street in an urban environment. There may be street noise in some Divisadero facing rooms; if you are a particularly light sleeper, you may want to consider requesting an interior room or one that overlooks the garden.

There is a charge of $150 for any lost keys to cover the replacement cost of new locks. If you prefer not to hold on to your key, please leave it with the front desk staff.

The Metro Hotel is a 100% nonsmoking, drug-free property. Illegal activity of any kind will not be tolerated. The Metro Hotel reserves the right to charge for damages, theft, or loss of revenue, including a $250 cleaning/fumigation surcharge for smoking in the rooms.
