Union Square
About 15 minutes by car from The Metro Hotel is Union Square, one of San Francisco's most famous shopping spots. The charming streets in this area are full of diverse and unique finds and the entertainment and dining is hard to beat. Alongside some of the biggest global luxury names, you'll find local boutiques with inspired gifts and everything in between. During the holiday season, don't miss when the square lights up with a large, festive Christmas tree and beautiful white lights.

Westfield San Francisco Centre
Nearby on Market Street, find world class shopping at the Westfield Centre. This indoor pavillion is the place for shopping and entertainment with both staged performances and on-screen shows. In addition to your favorite brands, find exclusive pop up shops, luxury and department store retailers, and more. When looking for gifts or new pieces for your wardrobe this is the place.

Embarcadero Center
Located by the water, The Embarcadero Center has great boutique shops and plays host to popular events and great restaurants. There are always on-site attractions and art installations to be found that make this a great place for an afternoon of strolling the shops. Stop in and see a movie, dine on excellent cuisine, and find something unique to bring home.
